Just to correct one thing - I have never been the FOC Chairman ... merely a long-serving foot soldier.

Re: WMOC 2017
Looking at the registration for 2017 - anyone tell me what the registration for "non-playing official/supporter" is for?
If I get there it'll be with wife and 2 kids in tow. Do they need to pay$145 to register as supporters? I think they happily spend the day on the beach mind you.

Bear in mind WMG is mainly about Team Sports so coaches/managers etc are the officials. The supporters bit is to get them access to opening and closing ceremonies, free transport in the host city etc etc.
As orienteering is normally dislocated from the main WMG (when WMOC is tied to WMG every 4 years) - it is not something most orienteers worry about.
