At the moment I have the following events - does anyone wish to add in any others before I start printing off fliers
Sevenoaks appears in the BOF fixtures but we have no more information than that. Also Loughton event we are presuming is happening at some stage this year but perhaps someone can confirm or otherwise both of these events
Thanks
Chris Branford

Since Great Malvern is south of Cambridge, can I offer Great Malvern on 22.10.2016?

The SEOUL logo shows the dividing line as going from Kings Lynn down to about Gloucester (i.e. NE to SW) so I suspect that Great Malvern would not be possible - but that's a personal comment and it has nothing to do with me.

Re: SEOUL 2016
Until recently I had always assumed that SEOUL was the South East OUL, but then investigated further since it included Cornwall.
On DavidJ's theory, perhaps I was close to correct.
I wonder if Elgar thought that he lived in the North.

SN are doing an event on a new extension to Goldsworth Park, woking. I am currently doubling the existing map and then I will be planning. Current schedule is for Saturday 16th July .... Hope to give suitably challenging courses

Southern England OUL, not South East OUL. Hence the broader geographical range. I presume that it is intended to encompass events in SEOA, SCOA, EAOA and SWOA. The map at https://www.britishorienteering.org.uk/find_a_club suggests that the dividing line is not quite as straight as the SEOUL logo suggests, I suspect it was drawn as a straight line for simplicity rather than a deliberate slight on Great Malvern.

Yes, you're missing all the best events in the south east. Edinburgh, Livingston, sprintscotland...
WOC2024 Edinburgh
Test races at SprintScotland (Alloa/Falkirk) and Euromeeting (near Stirling).

Re: SEOUL 2016
Last time there was an event at Greater Malvern it was a Nopesport one but not a SEOUL one
For historical reasons that I am not sure about the line for SEOUL does go at rather an odd angle
Does it not come within West Midlands Urban League in which case that will be Allan Williams I do not have an email for him but imagine someone else can help out there
All the best

I understand that the SAX event at Sevenoaks scheduled for 4 June won't now be taking place. It's been removed from the BOF fixture list.

Yes it will be in the WMUL. It is also in the mix for the UKUL.
Curiously, for the regional championships, or whatever they're called, EAOA is in the Midlands, with the EMOA and WMOA, i.e an East to West stripe.
The last time I spotted the Midlands Night Championships, that stripe also included Wales.

Milton Keynes Saturday 25.06.2016
A brand new area, quite literally.
A brand new area, quite literally.
Halfway along the road we have to go,
I found myself obscured in a great forest,
Bewildered, and I knew I had lost the way
