Looks like 6th for Edwin Oliver Edwards in M20.
Emily Benham hitting the forest shortly. Apparently it rained overnight (according to Brian Porteus's twitter feed).

Re: World MTBO Champs 2015
Looking like first for Emily in a very close race, only a few still to finish and they look out of it.

Oops! Emily was third 34 seconds down, 11 riders within 3.5 mins of the winner. Mass start tracker should be interesting to watch with so much route choice.

Yes, Bronze for Emily, and yes the mass start GPS tracker is interesting. Martina Tichovska had a lead for most of the course, but threw it away at the end with a mistake among the many track junctions approaching the finish. Emily was among a group behind, but looks to have had a strong finish to secure third.

Re: World MTBO Champs 2015
Martina Tichovska went west on the way to 5 and was faster than most of the rest that went east, who I suspect lost time on the initial climb that was steeper than the western route. Plus many missed the upper track into 4 including Emily. There's a lot more to this mtbo than meets the eye!

Long race, Emily only 7 secs off the lead at first split time after a monster 2nd leg route choice. GPS below. Oliver in 6th at second radio control on M20.

Looks like she's lost a bit of time to Tichovska (put tails on 9mins and show just those two tracks) but a long way to go... Go Emily!

Lost 90 secs plus, on wrong track going to 5. A very long way to go, as you say Andy, and closing in on riders ahead, fingers crossed!

Are the little purple lines over tracks gates they have to get around/over?
Weird seeing people going through them!

Purple lines are hazards that may require dismounting, ditches/steps/fallen trees etc.

Congratulations to Emily Benham finishing first in the overall IOF MTBO 2015 World Cup, after a heavy head on crash during the second of three races at the World Championships.
