The TV from livecentre was really good although I found Clive's commentating rather stilted. The Scottish guy was much better even if he didn't know as much about O!
Good mixture of action & GPS.
Did anyone else have problems pulling up their own GPS from the livecentre?
I couldn't get it to work for the women and could only see a few of the men.
As you can't access it before the race starts I don't want to waste time fiddling when the action has started.
GPS tracking - this looks very accurate through all the town.
Has anyone noticed Maja Alm's route from 5 - 6.
It looks like she went down an out of bounds alley.

The TV coverage showed she went up the alley just to the west of control 5, not the alley where control 5 was sited, so seemed fine to me. A lot of her competitors went to the far west alley which required a few extra tight turns.

Re: WOC livecentre coverage
I only get some of the GPS signals and can't seem to control who I see. Maybe they're just erratic in the forest. There is a "show your selection" heading but clicking on names I want to see makes no difference. A help button would be handy

Do I just get who I get on this GPS list or is there any way of selecting people?

I'm guess you are talking about Hugh Dan MacLennan (or Uisdean MacGill-Fhinnein as he is known on BBC Alba) - he is the Gaelic voice of Shinty and Rugby on BBC Alba for some years.

Managed to get women's IOF commentary and TV at home, back at work now and I can only hear the arena commentary, but no IOF commentary with the IOF TV, is it just me?

I have had sound from the beginning. No GPS tracking from Hector Haines, or mention of him since he started. Is he injured?

Excellent time by Hector, all the Brits did well. Interesting GPS trace from the Egyptian guy!

I just found one of the GPS wristbands in the forest while putting out 6day controls - so that explains why some traces disappear....

Re: WOC livecentre coverage
Excellent coverage today, just home from work, still to watch the BBC. No sound but otherwise my NHS computer coped with the technology. I'm just getting the hang of the technology and which screens I need up as it's finishing. Excellent performance by the British teams today.
When I gave a lift to Sigurd Daehli to the Haverigg trail o earlier this year he mentioned he was coming up to Scotland mainly to watch his son in WOC. He must be a very proud father.
