Go Teams go !!!!!
guessing at the teams here, but here goes........
Scotia, get yer head skrewed on and lets see a clean run, if you are doing 1st leg then make it solid. You know you can do it here in the UK and at Spring Cup.
GG same stuff, you are going to have to race to the end - stay in control
Girls,
Alison's results show the way....
Mhairi can do the business, as she did at the World Student
You have a great shot at this, make the most of it.
Rest of you - you are all capable of being part of a successful relay team - lets see it !!!

come on then as it was a rest day today and there were no results lets have a low down of who got on which countries' top ten. intrigued to know which coaches got on which lists!
at world studs there was still some list making. allan got on the russian girls list, clive the hungarians. mhairi and i made the norweigen boy's list (a dear diary moment). mhairi was also one of the 4 lucky girls to get her name chalked in foot high lettering on the car park, on the finnish boy's list and also got offered chocolate and the chance to have her photo taken with a very persistent american guy as a prize for getting on their list. she declined. he was a bit scary.
the list making wasn't quite as prolific as it is at jwoc tho. so who are the studs of the GB jwoc team? and who has been putting in groundwork before the banquet? anyway more importantly good luck for the relays, go hard! but smooth.

Hi all its 1200 in Poland and all quite on our corridor.
The Top ten lists have been going up all day - some very imaginative ones.
The dirty danish lads had to remove theirs as it was a blow up doll with names written on parts of the anatomy!
Mhairi makes it onto a few but the lads are scoring better - Dan, scott & Jason make it onto Finnish girls. Jason & Janine as best couple on swiss list. Mharky Boosch is on Aussie's, & the Russians with Jason & Scott. GG & Scott on Polish girls.
Team scores after classic:
1 SWE
2 FIN
3 NOR
4 CZE
5 SUI
6 RUS 308
7 GBR 318
8 LTU 397
9 DEN 424
Men in 11th & women in 6th.
so we look reasonably secure for improving on last yrs 10th and would be great to catch the russians for 6th. Predict the lithuain men will be strong.
We have realistic aims of performing better than previous years if all run to full potential but we are concentrating on the race.
Had a relaxed day today - late breakfast after a nice meal out last night with small celebration - we might just celebrate a bit more at the party....
Visited a wicked Aqua park with slides & jacuzzi pools & saunas - wasnt really the weather for anything else - pissed it down most of day just like as in estonia last year.
Equally important is the coaches race as stakes have been raised higher with some challenges laid down between swiss, gb & danish coaches...bring it on.
We hope to have some texts back to you guys tomorrow with more good news.
Chris

Funnily enough I had the misfortune of getting hit by a branch, scraping my eye upon the first leg of the relay. Cue a disasterous result and blurry vision for the rest of the course. Although the really pretty nurse who attended my injury made up for the pain which I am suffering.

Yeah well I would definitely put Jase in my top 10 thank you very much! Perhaps the Fin's, Russian's and Swiss' top 10s were not just about being a gorgeous hunk? Being a top coach and going out his way to help people (e.g. the Fins, Russians and Swiss to name just a few non Brits during last week) might have had something to do with it, as well as being able to take abuse from past squaddies?

ouch! come on janine we know jase is an all round great bloke, it's just banter.
I'm sure the junior coaches know their input is part of why the juniors and us young seniors too (at world studs) have been getting all these medals and good results but we don't have to start saying they are gorgeous hunks as well!

And even the Finns, Russians and Swiss needed Jase's help to keep ahead...
I dont know enough about the runners to tell who reached their expectation and who is capable of doing better, so a generic well done to those who ran well and to those who've worked hard to get good enough to be contenders.
