Me neither. Other than that I'm quite happy with my initial selections.
Good luck to all the team. I can't wait to get to Scotland to support you.
Me neither either! Although its a much stronger looking sprint relay team than I'd have anticipated given no Rocky or Scotia. Interesting that Cat is in the relay but not the individual and vice versa for Murray/Scotia. Presume this was a personal choice for her given Scotia at least went the other way through choice. I'm guessing she has ambitions later on in the week too. Bring it on!

I think Jess has done really really well to qualify for the team this year - it was by no means a certainty given her JK results and she's clearly put in a power of work since then to win the test races and thoroughly deserves her place. As Graeme says the pre-selection of athletes is a complicating factor, but hopefully it allows those with the best medal chances to prepare - Scotia certainly seems happy enough. As Helen Palmer tweeted - its great to see so many debutants at a home Championships - here's hoping they can spring a one or two surprises!

Re: WOC team selection banter
I think it's a really strong looking team, and the spread of athletes and lack of overloading any of them will hopefully allow the team to focus on their selected areas over the next few weeks giving us even better chances of medals.
In contrast, the Finns have selected Minna Kauppi for four of the 5 disciplines, yes she's strong in all formats but she'll be tiring by the relay surely?
Well done all who got selected, and hard luck to those who missed out. Still some amazing orienteering to be had through the Highland 2015 events instead...
I can't wait!!

Cat is also doing four disciplines. Historically it has been normal runners to do five races (two qualifiers, two finals and a relay), so nothing unusual there.
Interesting that the given reason for omitting JWOC superstar Olli Ojanaho is his low world ranking...

which would give him an early start time... anyone might think they expect it to track up

Minna's running Sprint, Middle, Relay and Long, so will have a day off between each except the middle and relay
Sprint Qual Fri
Sprint Final Sun
Middle Tuesday
Relay Weds
Long Friday
Cat has an extra day off between the MSR and Middle.
