"For most teams, compiled of friends or work pals, the challenge is to pass the same courses as the best orienteers in the world."
Good British presence I think, many of whom are noted below.

Lower numbered teams including British runners:

#51 Lillomarka 1, Charlotte Watson leg 1.
#57 Halden 3, Jo Shepherd leg 2, Helen Palmer leg 4.

Re: Venla and Jukola
Particular note for the Combs Klaani - aka family Coombs who are running all 7 legs between 5 of them....... A real challenge (particluarly as Duncan is also running an early leg for his Norwegian club...). Good luck to all 7(!) of them - hope they have packed enough gels and clean o-tops to get round.

€10 isn't much to support the IOF livecenter and see some orienteering.

Aye - if you are prepared to pay it and then risk a crap download because of broadband issues..... or the reported comments about "invalid tokens"......

Hector Haines, Alan Cherry and Ralph Street all in the lead pack on leg 1, think Kris Jones got a long gaffle (or his pack made a mistake, not sure)

You're not in Deeside with lazy imps pushing bits uphill along dodgy BT copper wires.
