Interesting set-up: unless he reaches £1000, he gets nothing.
Good luck, Will!

Re: Will Rigg
that's the trouble with crowd-funding for things like this - surely something is better than nothing?
If he doesn't reach £1k I'll happily drop my donation into his bank account

Exactly, talentbacker is for something where half the money is useless and the whole lot makes all the difference. If every little helps, you use a different platform. In practice, if he doesn't make the target, Will can just toss in the extra cash himself.
Talentbacker is for things like restarting our RacetheCastles sponsor.

So, Will's on £575 / £1000 with 26 days to go, and Illegal Jack's (which did us proud at RtC Friday-night download, and was pretty harshly treated by the city council over something completely out of their control) is on £56,961 / £75,000 with just seven days to go.

Re: Will Rigg
What next elite orienteers sitting down at the JK assembly Field with a paper cup begging for money to pay to represent Great Britain. How can anyone think this is good? Isn't anyone at BOF ashamed that kids are resorting to begging in order to represent Great Britain.

Re: Will Rigg
He is getting closer to his target. I am sure however he would like to be able to get a bit more to enable him to do some of the training trips he describes. There must be more people out there who could put £10 his way - you will probably be spending £50 in fuel to get to an event this weekend …..
