Completely agree. If, for some reason, a planner wants to use "the smallest feature which is mapped in a sea of unmapped smaller features" then you really shouldn't hide the kite. At every control on Saturday I was either led in, or I led someone else it: that's not how it should be. Relay looked superb.
Meanwhile, the lucrative race to find the UK's top orienteers in UKEOL is beginning to take shape, with GG taking control of his own creation, but the other classes much more open.

The English section of the competition ends with Sprint&Middle, then the action moves north to Ardnaskie for the Junior Final, and the Schiehalion Weekend for the Senior Final.
