Does anyone know if this is on the same area as the WSX event this coming Sunday? (Which would seem a bit odd, given that the Harvester is still a level B event with embargoes etc)
If I run there on Sunday am I non-comp for the Harvester?

Re: Harvester 2015
In an ideal world the event venue would be decided 2 years in advance and the area embargoed
However as has happened for 3 out of the last 4 years no one offered to stage the Harvester until the last minute
For 2015 again no one had offered to stage it
In November Mike Cope (National Fixture Secretary) emailed all the regions asking if anyone was able to stage it – if not he would cancel it I replied that it was possible that we might be able to get Rushmore estate as it is a private estate and not FC – so most of the restrictions that we have in the summer months would not apply. By December we had managed to get agreement to use the estate but it then took us a further two months to obtain a licence for the event
There was no way that we could cancel the WSX event at such a late stage
The area has not been embargoed
Maps will be published available so that everyone can look at them
The only other choice would have been to say that the Harvester could not happen
The event this Sunday is not using exactly the same area.
However we would appreciate competitors on Sunday not trying to gain an unfair advantage after they have run their course

A 3 months informal embargo for the Harvester seems very sensible long term IMHO.

Re: Harvester 2015
Should embargos be different for day and night events. I have certainly run at night champs events followed by a day event on the same area the next day and rather than gaining a benefit I wondered why I was so daft to slog through fight at night that I avoided when I could see it the following day.
