The number one feature requested on OOMap (used by various clubs to create simple Street-O type maps for evening training and informal events) has been an easy way to mark certain routes as out of bounds. Currently, planners have to edit the PDF manually or load it into OCAD/Purple Pen etc to add in red crosses, or worse mark them onto each printed map using pens.
I've now released a new version of OOMap that allows you to mark red crosses straight on to the map. Just add them in like you would add control sites. When you hit Save to get your high-quality vector PDF, the red crosses should show up in the correct place.
Like controls, the locations of your crosses are saved with your map - make sure you note down the map ID when you save, so that you can load it in again if you need to.

Around 7000 maps have been created (4300 in the UK), with 40000+ controls, since OOMap v2 launched 18 months ago. Here's where: http://blog.oomap.co.uk/2014/11/where-in-the-world/
