Autumn in the New Forest
I visited the area for the November classic yesterday. The autumn colours are beginning, the braken dying and the animals (ponies, donkeys and cattle) are grazing peacefully. With the promoise of a great event, with an Urban race in Winchester the day before, is just what you need to get your autumn underway. It is the final event of the UK Orienteering League. So get your entries in! What are you waiting for? Race the Castles is almost over!

Some of us already have - there were two events in the New Forest this weekend (SOC on Saturday and and WSX on Sunday).

Re: Autumn in the New Forest
Another good local/schools event in the New Forest put on by WIM. Despite having lived here for 35 years never been to this small area before.
Went to the Classic area afterwards with some of the officials. It was glorious in the Autumn sunshine. Roll on two weeks time.
Don't forget to get your entry in - only a week to go
