He said he had crossed an uncrossable feature (wall?) and declared himself non-competitive. He didn't realise until after the flower ceremony.

Re: Race the Castles
Are there any final details/start times for Balmoral and Forvie yet?
And will there be any food outlets.
Would be useful to know before I leave for Scotland - we don't all have mobile internet things (mostly because they don't work in backward, rural England)
Thanks

You can get the original deep fried Mars Bars from the chippy in Stonehaven...
Incidentally another top race today in Stirling. Great to have these high profile events in Scotland.

That was brilliant, especially the bit in the castle grounds where I got totally disorientated. many thanks for getting permission to run there and give my thanks to whoever gave permission.

Final Details for Balmoral will probably be available on Monday evening once any amendments arising as a result of this weekends races have been made.
HM Sheridans, well known Ballater butchers will be providing the main food outlet, supplemented by the MAROC Junior Squad cake stall.

Paul, can you please check the data loaded for Stirling Mens Blue.
There is an extra control 14 on RG which is not on my printed map.

The control shown as #26 (in fact our #25 given the extra control 14) is also centred on the wrong tree - it seems to be wrong on Blue Women too, perhaps on other courses? Should be the tree to the north hidden by the circle.

Re: Race the Castles
It's definitely on the course file I was sent, so I guess they must have removed it later. I've removed the RG for Stirling whilst I get a new course file.
