dunder dygnet was much fun and i would recommend it to crazy people. i actually started 3rd in the chasing start, 2min50 behind 2nd and the same time ahead of 4th, so my position didn't change.
my embarassing times on the second day (especially in the sprint!!) were due to immense pain in my quads resulting from descending the mountain like a lunatic in the midnight sun race. it was worth it for the stage victory and it was fantastic and weird to stand at the bottom in bright sunlight at 1am with only 2 "short tortures" left.
the prizes we got were lavish but almost as random and bizarre as the race itself, salt and pepper shakers, a swedish athletics sweatshirt, nike rainsuit, a little miner man, penknife. but also some generous cash prizes which paid for the trip.
there was a banquet afterwards too but everyone pretty knackered so it wasn't much of a party!
