New BOF page

I see BOF have updated their front page.

Am I missing it or is there no longer any link to results or rankings

Just rung BO office, who say there's problems with the site, which will be sorted very soon.

It looks to me like there is a rotating icon on the top right - switch to member/switch to newcomer. If you switch to member you can access results and rankings from the events button. I put some random stuff in the login (name and bof number) not sure whether I've logged in or not!

looks a lot like a 'work in progress' new site that wasn't meant to go live?

if this is what we're about to get... looks good! and thank goodness that menu has gone.

it definitely looks like a work in progress, there are bits of text overflowing some boxes... but mostly looks good on mine, menu doesn't break the page any more

With 4 days to go before the British Championships, it is surprising that anyone looking at the site now does not have any idea that such an event even exists. The links to both the British Championships (Long, Middle, Sprint and Relays) and the JK have gone. You might get the links if you sign in as a member (not checked this) but that should not be necessary. I would have given these greater prominence, not less.

'Switch to member' / 'Switch to newcomer' toggle (on rhs - maybe off the screen as it is in my browser), basically looks like it changes the info available on the menus. There is no need to log in if using member view, nor should there be.

The old menu system (with its annoying drop down feature has gone) and it looks like BOF are creating a site with different menus according to a person's interest (newcomer or old hand).

Some formatting still needs to be done, whilst trying to find results in NWOA I couldn't find the 'search' button until I noticed it suspended three quarters of the way down the page amongst the results.
Hoping its been tested thoroughly in all popular browsers (Chrome, FF, IE, Safari)

I like the concept of different content for newcomers and members.

The new website might explain why I got a "navigation challenge" award via email this morning, even though I've not done a level C or above event for well over a month.

Anyone else think the front page is just a teensy weensy bit sexist, racist and ageist? Not many target groups there just a tiny thumbnail of a woman and a girl.

You must have a different front page from me - I'm seeing several photos covering a wide range of competitors (basically the same photos as the old front page but arranged differently).

Possibly - I've just counted 49 men, 1 (possible 2 - too small to tell) woman and 1 girl. What are you seeing?
