BUT only 6 weeks till the Harvester.

This year it's down south again, organised by SLOW at Winterfold and Pitch Hill (last year's British Champs forest).

Some observations:
- A good time of year for the event. Not too cold for camping, more night legs than in June, undergrowth might not be too bad.
- Ad Hoc teams this year on both A and B courses, with Facebook being used to gather names. Presumably that means two clubs with just 2/3 interested can combine to get an ad hoc on the B course? So if your club is small or far away and unlikely to get a team, chat up the neighbouring club and you have a team?
- Taxiable distance for your team from Gatwick if you're flying.
- Expect a well organised and friendly event as SLOW events always are.
- One minor point, it would be helpful to have the table of the approximate distances, technical difficulty and whether the leg is likely to be day/night on the SLOW website as some people will only do certain lengths/TD's/only day/only night
