Hi map collectors
The yahoo map group seems to be defunct (along with all yahoo groups) or that may be a trick of the out of date eqpt I am forced to use in the ski resort where I spend winter?
Where are map enthousiasts communicating on the web? (this has nothing to do with map production anyway)
I have a lot of old O maps that I no longer look at, would any map collector somewhere like them?
Convince me you are going to look at them instead of having then cluttering your home (as mine are presently doing) and we can talk about a cost efficient way to transfer them.

How about contacting Nick Barrable and asking if he can publicise this in the next edition of CompassSport? Would reach more people than Nopesport

Storage of old "paper maps" is obsolete, except for you looking back at 'your run' etc.
Everything now is on Routegadget, you can even download the base map.jpg

Funny, I can't find any of my maps from 1970 to 2003 on Routegadget
Simon may be able to predate me despite being a good deal younger
