Bill Hunter of EPOC is attempting the 950 miles cycle ride from Dover to Cape Wrath in aid of Brain Tumour Charity. Bill's son, Joel, was diagnosed with a brain tumour in Aug 2011 and had an operation in the September. which removed 95 per cent of the tumour. A total hearing loss from his left ear was an unavoidable consequence and a major disability for a musician (which Joel is) - 12 months later Joel ran the Berlin Marathon in 3hr 56m to raise money for the above charity - however the bad news is that Joel's tumour is growing again and he will need future treatment. The Brain Tumour charity is supporting research which will lead to improved and more effective treatment and improve life chances for both adults and young children with brain tumours.
Bill will be grateful for any support you can offer
