Home wanted for old orienteering magazines
I've got a complete set of CompassSport magazines from 1996 to 2009, plus the first (only?) four issues of the short-lived rival "Handrail", which date from 1996-7, that I'd like to get rid of. If anyone wants them, please let me know; they can be collected from the Reading area, or at the Southern Champs in Cornwall, or the British Sprints in Loughborough (or I could probably arrange to get them to one of the JK events).

Board minutes 15 Dec 2010 - "... the British Orienteering archive at Sheffield University. A member of staff at the university is currently working through organising and cataloguing archived items".
Not sure if this is just BOF stuff or anything of an orienteering nature.

I rather enjoyed and still have copies of, Handrail. I suppose it was started just after the sport had peaked in the UK. The editors had looked after CS for a short while but I seem to recall had a falling out with the owner and went their own way. Was a bit piqued having subscribed for another 4 issues but only received one (with scant apologies) when it folded.
