Hi
I want to produce some 3D images of simple contour shapes to use in introducing contours to beginners and improvers.
Anyone got any idea as to how I might do this?
Thanks

Martin Terry (a South African orienteer who came to Scotland as an au pair pre-WOC '99 then went to Sweden and worked on 3-d modelling from OCAD files. I haven't had any contact with him for a while, but he runs for Lidingo, so perhaps one of the UK-Swedes can help with contacts?

Is this what you're after?
OcadConvert is a tool included with CFEdit that allows you to convert Ocad maps into playable 3D Catching Features maps!

If you are looking to make physical models to show e.g. 2 hills with col, reentrant, spur etc. try glueing a stack of polystyrene ceiling tiles together and then carving as required.

For Martin Terry, he can be reached through the website of Lidingoloppet (a famous Swedish xc event), which he manages.
