Sport England and UK Sport not to merge after all

I wonder if we're getting the real reason for the change of plan? And has it any implications for orienteering?

I've just today received an email introducing British Athletics do you think this is a coincidence?

I thought UK Sport did UK things & Sport England did English things only, so probably sensible that they didn't merge otherwise Sport England would need to change to Sport UK and start spending it's money (and spread it's policies) outside of England
