World Student sprint results
Sprint results are up for the world students at http://orientacnibeh.cz/english/wuoc200 ... esults.txt. 9th for Pippa in women (ok, so I'm quite proud!). Not sure what the DISKs for Ed and Rach are for....

official results now up, with split times. Ed was unlucky to have mispunched right at the end, was coming about 25th, Rach mp'd early on, though was running rest of course for a top 20.
The reward of a thing well done is to have done it.

rach punched too fast at one of the early controls.
it was a bit dodgy in places with the guys and girls controls on the same features very very close to each other with consecutive codes. i thought there was some rule that said you weren´t allowed to do that but perhaps not...

a bit of explanation on my website http://www.ednash.com
two controls, 136 and 137 on two trees about 10-15m apart.
no I didn't check the code - I was in too much of a hurry to get to the finish.
as JD says, always check codes. always going to the right place first time helps as well.
when 25% of the field (in the womens, almost the same in the mens) are dsqed it suggests there's something a bit dodgy.
Rach's dsq by the way was a punch not registering.
learn the lessons now kiddies, or you'll learn them the hard way later on.
