Its not really financially feasable to expect people to travel over 100 miles from anywhere north of Watford for both the jk and British on top of accommodation costs, or is this sport becoming exclusively for the well off?

BOC 2014 will be (if we get the agreement with BOF to make sense) up here in NEOA on a mostly new area that has the potential to be very interesting (1st plug - expect many more!) shorter journey than the South of England for the Scots and nearer than Scotland for the English.
