It seems to me that British squad members are more likely to wear their GB kit in domestic races than competitors in other sports, or indeed foreign orienteers. Is that true, and if so, why?
As a casual (and myopic) spectator, who doesn't know who everyone is, it is sometimes hard to tell who is who as a stream of identically clad people go through the spectator control.

you shouldnt wear international kit in domestic races. National team members were told to do so for JK as SKY Sports were there (this been on tv yet?) other wise it should only be worn in internationals.

Slightly aside . Have you seen the photo in the spectator area with the union jacks and the team in red/white and Blue Jackets. On closer inspection the backs say. Czech Republic. Have they joined the UK? Do they feel their kit matches our flag? Why do their tracks suits say their country in English. I'm no linguist but I don't think that is in Czech.
