So what do we all think of the new kit. Not that popular if the World Students results thread was anything to go by.
I actually rather like it myself. Shame the tracksuits aren't in typical GBR colours but the sprint kit looks good (if a little chilly) and I like the Kampela O tops.
I thought Pippa looked good in the kit and you can actually see the sponsors names for a change too.
So what is the consensus??

They're a little less in yer face than previous ones arn't they - i think the top looks stylish and flattering - not thtat you girls need flattering - but i must admit that looking at the pictures of hannah that high neckline is making me feel uncomfortable - like i want to run my finger round my collar to get some air
Can't see tracksuits very clearly - they just look blue.

My first instinct was that it is pappy poo pants. But thinking about it, I've no problem with the top itself, it looks well made and well designed with a simple and comfy cut. However, the colours look more like a USA, Russian or Czech top than a GB top. There is nothing to distinguish it as a GB top (except two small flags on the sleeves invisible from a distance), and surely the point of a national top is to distinguish yourself from the other teams? So, maybe (as I think on the fly), the problem isn't that its spectacularly bad, it's just that the colours don't look right. I'll reserve judgement on the sprint top until todays pics are out.

Compared to most club tops in the UK, it looks pretty cool (have only seen the top not the track-suit) but compared to last year's top which really stood out and was obviously "British" from a distance I think it looks a bit plain

I guess it does have matching trousers? What are they like? It's just the posh top, random baggy trouser effect making Pip look a little less professional
Anybody gots an pics with the tracksuit on?

general team consensus:
new kit is good. ok, not all gbr red/white/blue, but there's too many other countries on the same colour scheme so go for something that looks good instead.
tracksuits are good, technical t-shirts are giving allan sweet dreams every night, sprint kit is dead good, o-kit is good but the tight tops are a bit easy to rip in the forest, but would be dead good as sprint kit!
in other words, we all like it, so there.

I think the kit is fine, but it does not say "Britain" very clearly - the flag is the smallest logo! I think it would be fine with a larger flag, more visible or something like a red, white and blue ring round each sleeve.

Tried out the o-top on a very minging wet pentlands training run this morning. Only dared take my waterproof off for about 5 mins as the weather was so horrid. The o-top felt great to run in - the tight neck made it tricky to blow your nose on though. The x-socks were really nice and cosy. As for the design, Angela Mudge was our lodger when I got the last set of kit through, and she thought it was the most histerically distasteful kit she'd ever seen. I had to agree. The new kit is a BIG improvement. And the o bottoms FIT! Wow!
