Any idea when start times will be published for the race tomorrow? It will affect what time we leave the North East.
Still nothing up on oentries...

Oh right that's fine, thanks. Just found the final details.
I'm not entered, and won't be running tomorrow unless someone volunteers to look after kids so we can run at same time. No time for split starts sadly. I'll probably have to wait to race you on Sunday in the rough stuff

Re: SOUL 6 @ Dunblane
Thanks to all at FVO for what was certainly the most challenging of the SOUL series races so far!

Prizegiving after SOL 6 at 2pm in Aberfoyle at main registration. Well done to all league winners and special commiserations to Spookster, who probably should have won MVet but for a mp!

Re: SOUL 6 @ Dunblane
What is it about my undistinguished weekend (failed to visit 3
controls on Saturday) weekend - all these photos of me. I note that I appear to be running far better than at the SOL despite the fact that with no map I must be warming up.

Seem to be lots of houses where there used to be fields when I ran FVO events on the Leighills. Trip down memory lane looking at Route Gadget and the courses - sadly the school has changed since I was there in the sixties. Good to see it having happier associations now. If it had not been 400 miles away, I wonder if thirty-year old local knowledge would have been an asset or a liability?

Not half as smart as he did many years ago in The Orienteer - orienteering in his pyjamas
