Edwin Oliver-Evans is out there at JWOC with a good 22nd place in his long qualifier, too.

From the long qualifier the top 20 men from each heat, and the top 30 women and juniors from each heat qualified for Saturday's long final.
Today is the Elite sprint, middle tomorrow (also the first race in the Masters World Champs, where GB have some very strong riders), Thursday is sprint for Masters only and a rest day for everyone else, relay on Friday.
Temperatures are fairly warm, 38degrees for yesterday's qualifier!

Great stuff Emily, couldn't get the live results to work so ended up resorting to 22 and 32 minute GPS tails to follow the final stages. Looked like the winner was just that bit stronger at the end but neck and neck up to c13.

Great result for Em today. Edwyn in 18th on M20 was very good as well I think he still has 2 or 3 more years in this class and he has less than a years MTBO experiance.

Tough middle race today with much easier courses than yesterday's sprint suiting the very fast continental riders. Me and Andy D both lost time on a leg where the overprint obscured a small path resulting in is riding double the distance and climbing an extra 30m. See BMBO website for report and results.
