Poole Town Race

Great event put on by Wessex in conjunction with Poole Rotary Club. Excellent first urban map by Gavin Clegg, good planning with technical route choice right from the off. Good area as there was an old town with cobbled streets, new areas of housing, older residential areas and modern town centre. The methods of crossing the railway line were safe and easily read. Thank you Wessex. You even sorted the weather!!

You beat me to it! Thoroughly endorse all - great course (#2), particularly in the intricate residential area, with many paths and uncrossable walls, which kept the brain working in overdrive, all excellently mapped.

Same again - course 3 was also good, and the maze in the middle was a bit of a change from usual. I only wish I'd read the control description before running to No. 15 - getting from "on top" to "underneath" was quite some distance!
