Board Summary

Couple of interesting things on the Board summary just appeared on the BOF website

• The membership and levy proposal was finalised. The Event Levy was reduced to £1 in light of the discussion held during the meeting
• Appointment of Association representatives on Event and Competitions Committee was ratified and the process for making the remaining appointments agreed

It would be really nice if BO could post such documents in a more
readable format. ".docx" files are hardly universal, what ever happened to
PDF's (especially as the version of office that creates .docx files by default
will also produce PDF files)

But yes, the appointments panel are aware that geographic balance is one of the major issues that will have to be considered when making the two remaining appointments.

... rising to the bait ... Well, I live in Wales and have done for the past 4+ years (and was born there too), I orienteer mostly in Wales and the borders, I'm on the WOA Committee.

Thanks, already had it but I needed V3 (which took forever to download and upgrade)
but it doesn't excuse the basic problem of using non-industry standard formats.
As far as I can see (but I haven't looked that hard) this is the first time someone
has posted a .docx document in the BO downloads.
