Re: BOC 2012
When the entries open it would be helpful to know the range of start times on the Saturday - unless I have missed it on the web site? Many thanks.

Yes you can still catch the little train - 'The Ratty' as it's affectionately known but they declined the option of providing the bulk of our transport requirements into the valley hence the bussing instead.
Start windows should be available shortly, as soon as we've agreed a few transit times and issues about minimising bus queues for the journeys.

The range of start times are on the website. It says:
Between 10am and 2pm competitors will be offered a choice of 4 start blocks, each an hour long. These will be Early, early Middle, late Middle and Late. Within these blocks runners will be allocated fixed timed starts. Every effort will be made to accommodate requests.
We look forward to welcoming you to west Cumbria. Sunshine guaranteed!

And due to the layout of the page the link to the entries provider (SIEntries - I think)
is obscured by one of your nice photos and inaccessible (at least in my version of Explorer
with my screensize/resolution) from the entries pages (both the Individual and Relays)

Re: BOC 2012
There is a discrepancy regarding the first closing date for entries on the entries page. It is quoted as 21st Feb on the grid and 10th Feb on the list below!?

That's a ridiculous jump in fees if you miss the early entry dates!

I can't make the event as I've a wee arrival due the week after (

On the SI Entries site it is clear that entries cost more from 11th Feb (i.e. 10th Feb is the last cheap day).

It is not clear, SI entries says "Entries Close: Sunday 15th April 2012 at 23:59", it doesn't say anything about cheaper entry dates.

Whatever it says
Why should anyone be expected to look beyond the bold print on the website entry page which clearly states February 21st? I think the organisers should get that changed asap
