BOF AGM

Can I just raise an eyebrow at the BOF pronouncement about the location and timing of the BOF agm being late afternoon/early evening in Livingston on Friday after the sprint as being

the most appropriate timing

?

I suspect the bulk of people will be travelling from somewhere south on that day and wanting to get to their accommodation as soon as possibly - especially as Day 2 is the most further north. It's 100k from Livingstone to Blair Atholl. It's going to be hard enough to put up tents and get a meal without going to the agm - which is what I expect will happen. Why not hold the agm in Pitlochry over the weekend?

I agree Mrs H - I'd suspect that will be a severe disincentive to anyone heading up to Pitlochry for the weekend. Although it will be better for us guys in the central belt (at least those of us who were thinking of going )

Was a bit of a cock-up in Ireland last year. Started 1/2 hour before buses got back so weren't allowed in late
