TASS AWARD APPLICATIONS
Just had a look at the TASS award for on BOF site.... it asks for PB times from 1500m up to 10000m ..... a good sign!
Go orienteering in Lithuania......... best in the world:)

TASS originally said that all non-Olympic sports would be losing their funding, but after some intensive lobbying BOF have in fact managed to secure TASS funding for seven athletes in 2011/12. So it's still a reduction, but (much!) better than nothing at all.

Why does it not surprise me that no-one on here has bothered to say that in the more-than-a-day since Scott posted? Chances of such collective restraint if that had been an opportunity to criticise about something?

Just seen this thread, and - my thoughts exactly.
From my punterish viewpoint, 'BOF central' must be doing a lot of things right, and I'm grateful that we have people who can successfully lobby at a national level.
