Essential equipment

I have just received the latest CompassSport which I was enjoying flicking through, wondering about GPS enabled maps, chocolate medals, Jukola (someday?), campervans, etc until I reached page 39.
Now I know what I have been doing wrong all these years. I am missing a piece of "Orienteer's essential equipment!"

Surely Ravinous should have refused to accept this advert for a protractor romer with its picture of a stationary rucsac carrying couple. Someone should invite the seller to a real orienteering event and suggest that they change their advert so it targets the right market.
