I've been trying to look at details of http://www.sins.org.uk/ and I can't see any pages other than the front page. I suspect this is because I'm on my work system and we have no flash, or javascript. Can someone post some links to the details page (fees, courses, races etc.)

Are you not getting all the buttons on the left hand side of that page?

No, I don't see any of the buttons in either Internet Explorer or Firefox (I just assumed there probably were some). - our web browsers don't get updated very often...
and thanks frostbite that's really helpful.

Is there any chance of a sprint race being offered on Ludlow or will it just be city race style courses?

Well that's what I was thinking but there's if that's just going to be 40% shorter with 40% fewer controls there's not much point switching.

if course 3&4 have 30 controls on that might almost work

Nice to tell everyone of a limit of 500 people for the Urban race after this was reached!

If there is a limit, they may want to ask which juniors are actually going to run?
It was cheaper to enter all 4 events including the urban than enter the 3 excluding the urban!
I know of 4 in this family that are not intending to run the urban but are entered.

I hadn't heard there was a limit. My daughter was going to run but I don't mind withdrawing her - I know she won't mind. People who are desperate for a run could go to enquiries and check for withdrawals. Meanwhile I'll ask the organiser whether, when competitors are emailed next week, they can be asked if anyone who's booked for the urban isn't going to do it.

SINS is turning out expensive We were asked to check start block requests (which we did) and now that the start lists have been produced, have discovered we are in what I would consider the late block and are either going to fork out £3 a head or chance missing our train. Perhaps it's time 1 hour blocks were used as they are more definite and you could request a certain period in them in exceptional circumstances?

You know the Organisers are having "fun" when they put out version 8 of the final details and call them "Final details - losing the will to live"

And how eactly do you then accommodate all of the the 540 people who then ask for the same start block hour? Not a realistic proposal in my view.
You may consider it the late block but it could well be that you are in the middle block as nearly everyone asked for an early or middle start. I am sure the hard-pressed organisers are not doing it out of spite!
hop fat boy, hop!
