Hello!
For any of you heading to the Scottish Champs (28th-29th May), or who are thinking about it, we are going to be holding the first annual general meeting of AROS on the Saturday evening (28th) in the Crianlarich area.
AROS stands for Auld Reekie Orienteering Society and is the newly resurrected club for alumni of EUOC.
It will be a fantastic opportunity to meet old friends and to share anecdotes of when you were a member whilst also electing your committee for the coming year.
We'd love to see all alumni - from the beginning of the club in 1964 right through to present day.
If you see anyone you know to have been a member of the club at some point, please pass the message on!
We are currently finalising location and times but will hopefully let you know shortly.
(We are also aware that it unfortunately clashes with the SOA AGM but due to the nature of the club, the Scottish Champs is the best chance we have to catch most alumni before the summer events start. If anyone would like to attend both, please let me know and if this adds up to significant numbers then we will consider other options!)
Thanks
Lucy (acting Secretary of AROS)

Gross - I'll buy you a pint if I this means I buy your "one" vote for the AROS committee
- works at UK government level so why not for AROS?

Re: Calling EUOC alumni!
Hi all
Just a brief reminder that in less than a month we will have some newly elected AROS committee members! And plans for what will be an awesome club
I've heard we've got quite a few of the 'old boys' coming along, as well as various EUOC (and soon-to-be-alumni) members so don't miss out
All the details can be seen in previous posts but don't hesitate to get in contact with any queries. I also have a copy of the current constitution if anyone would like to see it.
And please spread the word to anyone you know to be ex-EUOC!
Hope you're all out enjoying the nice weather!
