Not much information about the terrain for this Masters Cup Event. Oxwich Burrows are mentioned. Is the whole event on sand dunes? Is it worth a 400 miles round trip to run a 4.2km Green Course? Convince me.

Whole area is sand dunes, use Google Earth, search on "Penmaen, Swansea" and all the dunes south and west are mapped. Nicholsaton Farm is also shown (yellow box) where assembly etc are. Keep sweeping West until you hit Oxwich - end of map. Hope the tide will be out as you cannot get past the headland if it is in! We had a control on the big rock in the photo once, planner forgot about the tide times so some of us had to wade out to the control and then scramble up the cliffs

I'm not part of the organising team but will pass the message on. Saturday's event is another excellent sand dune and hosted last year's VHI's relays, has hosted a National event and JHI's amongst others.
