I notice that some clubs appear not to follow process in registering maps under revision (ie I've ran on several XX-04-123-F etc where the addition of the letter denotes an upgarde). Is this the right way of doing things - would the mapper have insurance (possibly if the event were registered before he started work).
I thought any major revision of a map meant a new registration and that the letter suffix should be used for defining excerpts from a map (eg on my latest map the full A3 area is -A, the A4 competion area for our first event -B and two 1:5,000 footprint for the Adventure centre -C and -D.
[As it is the BOF registrtaion system and map database seem to be poorly at present]

Re: Map Registration
If you employ me to so your map for you there is no need to worry about insurance - I have £5,000,000 public liability insurance.
