Boxing Day Score - Trent Park

The LOK/HH Boxing Day Score at Trent Park will be bought to you by the same super efficient team as last year. The worst excess of the planner will again be curbed by the same strong and experienced controllers; moreover, the highly efficient organising team will ensure everthing runs smoothly.

There will be the normal extras (mulled wine etc).

For those of you anywhere near London (Trent Park is right next to Cockfosters Tube and easily reached from the M25 by car) over the Festive Season a fun and sociable orienteering opportunity that is not to be missed.

Also on Boxing Day, taking place on the Dorset/Hants border, it is Wimborne Orienteers' Boxing Day Canter, held this year in the SE part of Moors Valley Country Park.

As ever, this is a massed start 60 min Score event starting at 11.00,in its traditional form of 26 marked controls plus the three unmarked bonus ones of Father Christmas, the Christmas Fairy and the Christmas Tree, if you manage to find them.

This year, to avoid the usual scrum at Registration, you can pre-enter on Fabian4 up to 21.00 on Christmas Day.

This event has been running for a long time. This will be our 40th (Ruby) Event and we would encourage everyone to wear something RED

It is so good to get out for a run on Boxing Day. This year WCOC are using Setmurthy Forest near Cockermouth for the first of the two Fenwick's Festive Frolics. Format is a secret at this stage!!

"in spite of the weather the Boxing Day Score Event at Trent Park is
expected to go ahead, but please check the HH and LOK websites before
travelling in case a last minute change in the weather means the event has to
be cancelled"
