BOF Website
What has happened to the website. Nothing has been posted since 10th Octgober despite there being the Compass Sport Cup, one of the most important club events of the year. Anyone shed any light on the lack of news?

Re: BOF Website
Has anyone actually submitted a report on the CompassSport Cup to BOF?
In my experience they are pretty good at putting up news if its sent to them, but I don't suppose they are any more clairvoyant than the rest of us.

They've not posted the fact that some new juniors have been selected for the squad, I only noticed because it was on the SOA website.

Re: BOF Website
How about a combination of holidays and people away from the Roadshows?
Possibly the slowest Orienteer in the NE but maybe above average at 114kg

If only there was some way of accessing the internet when away from the office...

Re: BOF Website
The BOF Website was updated today... from the news section:
We apologise to any members wishing to contact the office. The closure is as a consequence of prior engagements and too few staff being available to man the office.

Re: BOF Website
Come on guys ~ BOF are reducing staffing levels, but still working their socks off charging around the country running roadshows and attending to matters of significant importance to orienteering.
If you really still need to be told who won the CSC just look to your right on this page.
Why should BOF office staff be expected to have the technology to work from home. Give'm a break

You mean the internet? Not exactly rare technology, eh?

Re: BOF Website
Reading the internet from home is one thing ~ providing secure remote access to update pages in the public domain, although common place, needs a bit more technology and control.
But I say again. Why should we expect this from our National office staff ? I know Mike 8 Laura will not have left Duxford the other evening before 10.30. Running BO is not a 9-5 job.

Re: BOF Website
Exactly Clive - its hard enough to get this in place working for a blue chip company sometimes let alone a small poorly funded sports orgaising body. Give the BOF guys a break - they are pretty busy with this tour just now!
