And they're off...
Good online results:
http://www.liveresultater.no/jwoc/?lang=en_EN#alle
click the combined results tab and it shows all the radio controls at once, just decrease the font size of your window so you can see them all in one go. ctrl & - (minus) i think.
Spongey is off to a flying start, 1s down on Gustav Bergman at R1, and fastest time at R2 (although Bergman is missing from that)... it's going to be a long day with 154 in the men's class, but Bergman is a JWOC gold medalist, so his 13:35 time for first starter and finisher should be a good bench mark of how things are going to go through the day. university sprints don't really track up

Oh no - poor Alice. But 5 dsq out of 18 seems very high? could there be a glitch in the timing system?

i doubt it, it's emit so punching too fast is a common mistake, especially in a high speed, high stress race... just have to wait for the official splits really

Re: JWOC Starts Tomorrow!
Radio 2 seems to be missing a few people, but other than that it's good.
Cracking race by spongey, right up there with the Swedes who basically have 6 medal contenders in their team

I got a bit worried when she didn't show up at 1.8km!

Re: JWOC Starts Tomorrow!
There are a few strange things showing on the results with the prewarning difference times all wrong. It seems to be working well at the moment, with the 1.8 unit now functioning.
