When it comes to club-level orienteering then no countries can really compare to Scandinavia. Their events are just better.
However, when it comes to international competition they seem to be somewhat lagging behind other european nations.
The JWOC page has had three news articles since February, yet it starts in 3 days! Compare that to the EYOC in Spain which had a great video with clips from the areas, as well as photos uploaded straight from the model event, live events (after an electrical storm) and even GPS tracking.
The Nordic O-Tour was even worse. Their website was the least helpful I have seen in years.

The JWOC team leader meetings have been "interesting" - they posted the heat details on the athlete e cards yesterday and a full new draw had to be done.
The transport to and from events has been diabolical.
Our athletes have taken everything in their stride.
