This was great!
Runnable forest throughout - no brashings; no undergrowth.
Good planning made maximum use of the northern part of Macclesfield Forest.
And sunshine.
It doesn't get much better.
Thanks MDOC

Re: MDOC Middle Distance race.
Was very good....but not as good as the ultrasprint, which was brilliant - i may at last have found my ideal orienteering distance, unfortunately i have also found some new ways to f*** up... oh well, was fun

Re: MDOC Middle Distance race.
Aye, most enjoyed myself. The horror stories of brambley hall were (mostly) unfounded. Unfortunatly my Oing was a bit hellish.
Headed off to a fell race afterwards and got my worst result in a long long time, but even though it wasn't a very suxccessful day, I really enjoyed it.
The Urban race at Stockport on the Sunday was cracking - fantastic 1.5km leg 12-13 on the black, plenty of route choice all around. If it wasn't for being well and truely knacked I reckon I could have had the guy that beat me
Stockport may be 'Manchester's Carpark' (not my words, the words of the LibDem candidate in Sheffield Central - who went on to loose) but it is a cracking venue for an urban race!
