Colour Coded Turn Outs
I wonder how many people turn up for the normal district event - can anyone shed any light on this?

If your looking for an average it will depend on the region that the event is in.

It's more specific than regions - try club areas.
In YHOA, the largest district event so far this year has seen 342 runners: fairly central, close to the A1. Eastwards, this grades gradually downward to around 120-150 on the east coast. Most centre around 250 or so. Of ocurse there are exceptions depending on areas, time of year, weather, other events etc. etc.
So, overall, in YHOA, 120-350 is usual range, with average around 250. But very general.

In SCOA region it depends on what else is on. Normally about 300, but if theres nothing else can go up to 500+. CSC matches tend to be huge. But as Andy L says why don't YOU look up the results and work out the numbers. You seem to have plenty of time to be on-line. How it would fill up your empty hours!!
