How sad to read that the timing of the above competition - right in the middle of GCSE exams next year, means that no senior teams will be sent from BSOA -(although personally I think there might have been some leeway to send those with a 1995 birthday). I don't know whether this affects the Scottish teams.
I know that this has been a popular thing for younger orienteers to aim for and it has been a great experience for those who have gone.
I understand It has also in the past made a big difference to membership of the BSOA prior to selection races. I wonder if other nationalities will be affected.

The event co-incides with Highers and Advanced Highers so sadly no senior teams from Scotland either.
