Entries are now open for EPOC's first urban event in Holmfirth.
After the race, competitors will be able to enjoy a Gala with small fun fair, stalls, games, food, drink etc., a Duck Race and the start of Holmfirth Art Week.

Yes, and any complaints about competitors misunderstanding out of bounds symbols etc etc need to be opened in a new thread called "Last of the Summer Whine".

Well hopefully the next edition of CompassSport will be out by then - and the organisers might like to trial my suggestion contained therewithin.
Infact it could be a neat summation of that and my previous column - I plan to be there to monitor the outcome (and boost my Yorkshire Urban League standing) as it happily co-incides with student digs moving weekend in Sheffield

The Sheffield Ultrasprint is also that weekend - *think* the race is on the 3rd (that's what the SYO website says atm)

Are you making a weekend of it with the SYO Cliffhanger Ultrasprint on the Saturday?

Somewhat more than at York by my estimation....
I believe courses will be shorter to account for this.
