Can't fault your predictions Gross - what about Hollie Orr as 6th woman? Give a youngster some experience and reward an impressive year.

Re: WOC Selection Predictions?
Well you havent left us much to go on there Gross, but I'd maybe add Murray to the list for his spirnt results if nothing else, on the basis of his results at the JK sprint (2nd), British elite sprint (4th) and 3rd equal in the test race. If theres 7 spots possible I think it would be harsh to leave him out.
For the women, I'd think maybe Tessa Hill had a shout on recent form, although Hollie Orr did better in the selection races apart form the sprint. Might come down to who they want for each race, but I'd say we've enough depth to justify the pair of them.
( I took so long to write mine Jon got in in front of me!)

For the sake of correctness they're the other way round: 4th at JK (third Brit) and second at BEOC sprint.
I've my binoculars trained on Jon X's house where the selectors are meeting, waiting to see what colour smoke comes out the chimney!

Yes it's a great achievement to be appointed from outside the squad (ditto Tessa in reserve).

OK decided to miss the PURPLE THISTLE 2010
http://www.purple-thistle.co.uk/
The connoisseur's choice of orienteering events in 2010.
A straight choice between Trondheim or Balmacara for those who like full on orienteering: tough technical and physical.
Another benefit of purple thistle is that you'll be able to enter it via the connoisseur's choice of online entry systems: http://www.oentries.com/
Enjoy!
