The Adventure Show featuring the recent British Night Champs at Edinburgh will be broadcast on Easter Sunday 4th April at 7pm on BBC2 in Scotland and Sky 990 south of the border.
This a prime TV slot so should get good exposure. Not so handy for the many orienteers who will be in Devon for the JK, unfortunately! This show does not get delivered by BBC's i-player either.
It should show a fair bit of the action as they had about 5 cameras there, showing start, finish and a number of points in the terrain. Also will have interviews with some of the top competitors and feature their presenter Deziree Wilson being coached and then successfully competing followed by a cameraman. Some footage from a recent SEDS training weekend in the snow should also be included.
The lead presenter Dougie Vipond recently featured in Sport Relief, paddling the Caledonian Canal in fairly extreme conditions.

Re: British Night Champs on The Adventure Show
I really, really hope it doesn't show me going the wrong way at the start when I had my map upside down. Next time TV cameras are there I'll be the one in balaclava and sunglasses!
