There are just three weeks to the event on an area not substantially used for nearly 30 years. The large escarpment, that you may have run on in events since then, is only being used for part of the longer courses. The maps (litho of course) are at the printers and the courses are all run and checked subject to a last minute ground check this weekend. The ground conditions are excellent.
For those who need to know course details before they commit, the course distances will be published before the final closing date of 15 March. However, as a guide, the M21E is planned at 15.3km with 395m of climb, the other courses are pro-rata based on Events Rules L.
The finish is planned with a good club tent view which also overlooks the spectator control for the elite courses. Car parking is adjacent to the finish and the starts are a nice walk away, through an area which the organiser commented was worth coming for on its own!
