Despite the two contradictory listings on the BOF website, this Saturday's local (SWELL & Schools League) event at Pishiobury Park has not been cancelled.
Also, anyone intending to travel via public transport should be aware that trains will depart from Stratford instead of Liverpool St. A rail replacement bus service will also operate between both Cheshunt and Bishop's Stortford to Harlow Mill.

Re: Pishiobury Park
I read this title and thought someone had had a really bad day on Cassiobury Park!
Obviously I've spent too much time in Scotland!)

Re: Pishiobury Park
Me too Becks but I'm still intrigued as my home town is mentioned as a rail bus link and I know of Cassiobury but I don't recall Pishiobury, despite 20 plus years in the area. Please put me out of my misery. I presume it's possibly near Harlow or Rye House. I feel I must have had a deprived childhood

Re: Pishiobury Park
Pishiobury was the home of one Earl of Essex, Cassiobury the home of another Earl of Essex, so perhaps the reason for the similar names. Pishiobury is a bit less mown and well walked but otherwise similar terrain.
Alternatively the name may have something to do with local dogs. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVBnMQvQmQQ

Re: Pishiobury Park
I definitely feel I must have missed something. Next time I visit my father I'll have to investigate. Must admit know A414 to Harlow and the Ware to Stortford Route through Much Hadham but only once been to Stortford via Sawbridgeworth. Although I think my mother was at school near Sawbridgeworth after evacuation.
