Has anyone read the Bulletin 2 for the PWT? I cannot understand who can qualify for the PWT final on the Saturday = ie the bit that offers Euro dosh as a prize? Is it just the invited runners who have their own qualification race on the Friday from 13.00 to 14.00 followed by a flower ceremony that is then followed by what is said be an open PWT qualification race and an open race. What is the difference between a PWT qualification race and an open race. Does it mean that the final 15 who compete in the elite race on the Saturday can come from the open race or open qualification race or just from those who run between 13.00 to 14.00 hours? It also states:
"the 15 invited PWT runners (in both Men and Women) will start last" on the Saturday. That implies that where ever the 15 invited runners come in the race on the Friday they will be qualify as they will be off last. I am muddled.
Your interpretations and elucidation please. Maybe I am reading it wrong. Thank you.

this is no interpretation as I'm one of the ones who wrote it
Let's take men as an example:
Qualifier
the 15 invited elites run between 1300-1400 on friday, they don't need to qualify for the final, they are only running to determine start order for the final
the top 15 men in the open race later on the Friday will also qualify for the final.
Final
The 15 qualifiers will run first (in descending qualifier time order), then the 15 invite elites run (in descending qualifier time order)

Thank you Andy -does that mean 30 women and 30 men qualify for the final? I thought it was just 15.

30men and 30women will run each final, 15 have technically already qualified (the invited elites) and 15 will qualify from the open race(s)

Much appreciated, now understand.
Should have started the post with this with this. It is not an afterthought.
Bulletin 2 looks really good; very impressive production.

Re: Park World Tour comes to Scotland
This starts tomorrow. You can still EOD if sufficient maps for Scone tomorrow pm and Sat am 10-12 (4 courses, yellow, orange and mens and womens) all under 3k with lots of controls and some complex tree mapping. You have to run tomorrow if you want to do the elite race Sat 2pm (top 30 men and women).
There is also a free maze event at scone with 4 controls inside the fairly complex maze. Open same times as the events.
Sat pm there should be EOD for the open event from 3.30 after you watch the elite prizegiving at 3.15. 2 courses, male and female, each about 2k.
All events £8 adult BOF £5 sprog
